This Veterans Day, our team at Mission Design & Automation reflects on the impact veterans have on our lives and communities. Their service has shaped our freedoms and continues to influence the people and places they touch.
We are fortunate to know veterans within our company, our families, and our friends who continue to serve beyond their time in uniform. At Mission, a few of our own team members previously served in the armed forces: Hoyt Lampen and Bill Radloff in the US Navy, Phillip Lewis and Maurice Belleville in the US Army, and Adam DeBoer in the US Marines. Their leadership and dedication remind us of the value of hard work, teamwork, and perseverance.
In 2023, approximately 11.7% of employed U.S. veterans worked in the manufacturing sector, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. We feel lucky that our industry is enriched with so many skilled service members.
